The Field Service Engineer is responsible for managing and performing the scheduled maintenances, repairs and commissioning, also for generating Leads to grow the business and for giving the best service experience to our customers and will be located in Bizkaia or Gipuzkoa.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Serve as the face of Hach for customers in the North Region, building trust through professional, hands-on service.
• Plan your daily work independently, balancing preventive maintenance, repairs, and commissioning tasks.
• Travel to different customer sites, adapting to new environments and challenges each day.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues on-site, ensuring water quality systems run reliably.
• Perform hands-on activities such as replacing seals, tubes, membranes, cleaning pumps, and commissioning devices.
• Identify opportunities to support customers further, including upselling and generating leads.
• Provide clear feedback and close work orders, reinforcing customer satisfaction and trust.
• Do the report, close the WO, relax and be ready for the next day

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Willingness to travel up to 7 days per month in average
• Be able to have a communication in English.
• Electronics knowledge.

El Ingeniero de Servicio es responsable de gestionar y realizar los mantenimientos programados, reparaciones y puestas en marcha, así como la generación de Leads para crecer el negocio y brindar al cliente la mejor experiencia de Servicio. Estará localizado en Bizkaia o Gipuzkoa.

En esta posición, un día normal de trabajo sería:

• Representar a Hach frente a los clientes de la Región Norte de España, generando confianza mediante un servicio profesional y cercano.

• Organizar tu trabajo diario de manera independiente, combinando mantenimiento preventivo, reparaciones y puesta en marcha de equipos.

• Visitar distintas instalaciones de clientes, adaptándote a nuevos entornos y desafíos cada día.

• Diagnosticar y resolver problemas técnicos in situ, asegurando que los sistemas de calidad del agua funcionen de manera confiable.

• Realizar tareas prácticas como cambiar sellos, tubos o membranas, limpiar bombas y poner en marcha dispositivos.

• Detectar oportunidades para apoyar aún más a los clientes, incluyendo ventas adicionales y generación de contactos.

• Dar feedback claro y cerrar órdenes de trabajo, fortaleciendo la satisfacción y confianza de los clientes.

• Hacer el informe, cerrar la orden de trabajo, relajarse y estar preparado para el siguiente día de trabajo

Esenciales para este empleo:

• Disponibilidad para viajar y pernoctar en 7 dias al mes.
• Nivel de ingles para mantener comunicaciones via telefónica, emails,etc.
• Conocimiento de electronica

Aptitudes deseables:

• Buena comunciación y actitud de trabajar en equipo
• Actitud positiva
