Validation Engineer
to join our Lab team and help shape the next generation of photonic innovation.

What You'll Do

As a
Validation Engineer
, you'll play a key role in our laboratory, collaborating closely with design, integration, and product teams. You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing experimental test plans for PICs and optical components developed in-house.
  • Improving measurement flows and data collection methodologies.
  • Performing optical and electrical measurements (passive and active) in the lab environment.
  • Developing Python scripts to automate equipment control and data processing.
  • Conducting SEM inspections of PIC-level structures.
  • Creating detailed reports summarizing results, conclusions, and proposed improvements.
  • Collaborating in multidisciplinary projects involving validation and testing tasks.


What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an optical laboratory environment.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience in photonics lab procedures: fiber cleaning, cleaving, alignment, and setup preparation.
  • Proficiency with optical and electrical instrumentation (OSA, optical sources, DC probes, power meters, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PIC layouts and handling.
  • Python programming for equipment automation and data post-processing.
  • English level: C1 or equivalent.
  • Nice to have: experience in integrated photonics labs, active/passive Si PIC measurements, and SEM image collection.

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and procedural accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Careful and precise handling of delicate components.
