We are partnering with an international Workday Client who are recruiting a Senior Workday Specialist to join their established and collaborative HRIS team. This is a key role for someone who enjoys being the go-to expert, combining end-to-end implementations with continuous improvement and BAU ownership.

This position offers a hybrid working model in Madrid with a competitive salary of up to €75,000 depending on experience.

You will gain broad functional exposure, long-term career progression, and be part of a collaborative and people-focused HRIS team.

Reporting directly to the HRIS Manager, you will play a central role in managing complex Workday topics, supporting junior team members, and driving both new implementations and ongoing enhancements across the Workday landscape. You'll work closely with global stakeholders and external partners, gaining broad exposure across Workday and the opportunity to grow in your career.

You will provide hands-on configuration and functional expertise, and collaborate closely with the HRIS Manager, HR Stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure the stability, optimisation, and improvement of Workday within the business

Senior Workday Specialist – Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on Workday experience at a senior level, preferably with prior experience working in an internal HRIS environment
  • Solid expertise in Workday HCM, plus Time & Attendance and, or Absence
  • Ideally, you have a strong background in end-to-end Workday implementations and post-go-live improvements;
    however, candidates with deeper experience in either area are also encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable operating in an international, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English is essential
