We are looking for a
IT Senior Project Manager
is responsible for leading and managing high-impact complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring their successful delivery by overseeing planning, execution (on time, within scope and budget), risk management and PPMO framework adherence.. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

2. Lead the completion of complex IT and business transformation projects.

3. Ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.

4. Provide project's strategic direction Project Planning:

5. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.

6. Integrate all aspects of the project, including timelines and resource allocation.

7. Oversee the development of project governance documents, adhering to the PPMO framework

8. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

9. Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables.

10. Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
11. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Project Board and other senior leadership.

12. Following PMO governance and practices

13. Risk Management:

14. Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies.

15. Develop proactive mitigation strategies to address risks effectively.

16. Manage escalations and critical issues with a strategic approach.

17. Resource Allocation:

18. Allocate resources efficiently, including budget, personnel, and technology.

19. Consult with line/resource managers and third parties.

20. Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.

21. Stakeholder Engagement:

22. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

23. Ensure transparency, communication, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

24. Act as a liaison between project teams and executive leadership.

25. Team Management:

26. Manage diverse project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

27. Motivate the project team and ensure team harmony.

28. Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers.

29. Quality Assurance:

30. Implement robust quality assurance processes and standards.

31. Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.

32. Continuously improve quality assurance practices.

33. Change Management:

34. Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and timelines.

35. Coordinate adjustments in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

36. Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.

37. Continuous Improvement:

38. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

39. Encourage feedback, learning, and adaptation to drive operational excellence.
40. Lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and tools.

Top 5 Main Activities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying main milestones, dependencies, resource allocation.
• Monitor execution and resolve issues proactively, tracing progress against timelines, managing scope changes and impacts, identifying and addressing risks or issues to keep project on track.
• Identify and resolve conflicts across resources and priorities, facilitating effective communication and decision-making in coordination with the stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and quality using KPIs and/or other metrics.
• Implement and oversee change management processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (6+ years) as a Project Manager, preferably in IT or business transformation projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Azure Boards, ServiceNow SPM, Microsoft Office).
• Appropriate certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) desirable.
• Experience with managing software development done by third parties offshore is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English and intermediate level of Spanish recommended. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g. German, Italian) is beneficial.

• Experience in managing Business and IT projects
