The Agentic AI Technology Leader is a high-impact role responsible for spearheading the transition from passive AI tools to autonomous "Agentic" systems within Ford's manufacturing landscape. This leader will drive the development of AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex tasks to improve plant efficiency, quality, and maintenance. You will lead the Alliance Manufacturing Agentic AI pillar, accelerating the deployment of "Digital Workers" and Expert Agents that can interact with our manufacturing data to make real-time decisions.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or a related engineering field.

Required Skills

• Technical Vision: Deep understanding of Agentic workflows, LLM orchestration (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT), and the integration of AI with industrial IoT.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams in an agile environment, specifically moving projects through "PoC" and "Pilot" stages.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value for plant managers and senior directors.

Recommended Skills

• Experience with Ford's "Traction" platform and "WAVE/NPA" business result tracking.
• Familiarity with the "3 Horizons" innovation framework (Exploit, Explore, Discover).
• Knowledge of manufacturing shop floor operations (Stamping, Body, Assembly, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define the Agentic AI roadmap for the Alliance (Europe, IMG, Otosan), ensuring it bridges the gap between traditional Data Analytics and fully autonomous Digital Manufacturing.
• Project Pipeline & "Funnel Tunnel" Management: Oversee the lifecycle of Agentic AI products from ideation to global replication. Prioritize "Discovery" projects that utilize LLMs and Agentic workflows to solve "Plant Pain Points."
• Pillar Operations: Lead a dedicated team, including Technical Specialists and a distributed network of "Change Agents" across manufacturing plants.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Serve as the primary link between Manufacturing Innovation and global teams like ATP Verticals & Horizontals (Core, Sight, Forge, Print, and Labs), GDIA, IT, and GME to ensure AI agents are built on robust, secure, and standardized data architectures.
• Value Realization: Drive the pillar to achieve measurable "Outcome Metrics," specifically targeting significant cost savings and hour reductions through autonomous process monitoring and root cause analysis.

• Savings Generated: Target contribution toward the 2025 Alliance savings goal.
• PoC to Production Rate: Percentage of Agentic AI pilots that successfully transition to "Ready for Replication."
• Network Growth: Expansion and upskilling of the Agentic AI Change Agent network.
