Funded by the Victorian State Government, the program provides intensive, weekly support to build tenancy literacy, confidence, and long-term stability.

The Assertive Outreach Housing and Recovery Worker role works in partnership with community mental health services and other community services to support participants throughout their housing and recovery journey. Central to the Doorway program are strong relationships with both clinical services and real estate agents, with a key focus on helping participants sustain their tenancies, navigate the rental market, and improve their overall quality of life.
