Operations Manager – Shipping Agency

Algeciras (with initial training in Northern Spain)

Are you ready to take the next big step in your maritime career?

Our group, one of the leading logistics companies in Spain, is expanding its territorial footprint and strengthening its range of services in Algeciras. To support this development, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team.

What You Will Do


• Manage and coordinate all operational aspects of vessel calls.


• Serve as the main point of contact for shipowners, masters, terminals, and port authorities.


• Ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.


• Support the growth of our services in Algeciras and collaborate with expanding partner networks.


• Oversee documentation, cost control, and operational reporting.

What We're Looking For


• Proven experience in shipping agency, port operations, logistics, or maritime services.


• Strong leadership and the ability to work in fast-paced operational environments.


• Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages add value.


• Availability for an initial training period in Northern Spain.


• A proactive mindset and ambition to grow within a company in continuous development.

Preferred Academic Background

Degrees such as:


• Nautical Science / Maritime Navigation


• Maritime Transport & Logistics


• Logistics & Supply Chain Management


• Port Management


• International Trade


• Business Administration (maritime/logistics orientation)
