By combining enablement and governance, we drive impactful and trustworthy use and adoption of AI solutions - powered by Data - across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Data & AI Transformation Coach, you will work closely with senior executives & leaders and other stakeholder groups across BASF in coaching sessions and strategic consultations about Artificial Intelligence.

Your mission is to inspire and guide these target groups in elaborating how AI can be applied within their specific areas of responsibility. To this end, you will - support them to take ownership of their unit´s AI transformation journey by enabling vision, understanding and empowerment.

Main Tasks
- Facilitate strategic 1:1 and group coaching sessions with senior executives & leaders on all levels to explore AI opportunities tailored to their business context.
- Trigger and guide critical evaluation of AI adoption, active ownership, and transformation within business units.
- Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for non-technical leadership audiences, enabling realistic application of this technology
- Support executives & leaders of all levels in identifying high-impact use cases and building internal momentum for AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between AI strategy and operational goals.
- Stay current on AI trends, technologies, and organizational change strategies to inform coaching and consulting engagements.
- Contribute to the development of impactful enablement materials and content.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Business Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience in senior consulting or executive coaching in large-scale digital or AI-enabled transformations in global industry or technology-driven companies.
• Minimum 4-5 years in a data or AI-related role, ideally with exposure to strategic consulting, executive engagement, or transformation programs.
• Solid understanding of AI, data-driven technologies in industrial applications, and data-driven business models from operations and supply chain to engineering, manufacturing and customer service.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with deep understanding of leadership challenges in highly risk-averse, operational driven cultures to engage with diverse stakeholders in discussions, coaching and workshops.
• Ability to combine empathy and inspiration with firmness and accountability. Emotional intelligence and cross-domain collaboration skills.
• Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and further stakeholders. Fluency in English

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in change management, or innovation consulting. Familiarity with corporate transformation programs. Conversational German is a plus.
