Frontend Engineer

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Frontend Software Engineer to join us.

Your key responsibilities:

As an experienced Software Engineer Frontend, your aim will be:

To design, develop and test the code that will shape the different components of the application, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality and performance.

To deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices. It includes the documentation and parameters that can help reaching that goal. To support Production by analysis and fixing any bugs that occurs. Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross technical chapter.

As an expert in the Frontend area, you specifically add value on that technical layer but always keep in mind the rest of the technical stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.

As a Software Engineer Frontend for one of our retail tribes you should have the following knowledge and experience:

Essential:

• A hardcore JavaScript developer with extensive experience in developing Front end applications with JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML and CSS (Experience with latest version as well).

• Also Extensive knowledge in Front end frameworks and working experience in developing Web components using one or more framework of the Angular 8 + , ReactJS , Polymer or Lit-HTML/Lit-Element.

• Knowledge with test driven development & test automation.

• Knowledge of JSON, REST, web-services.

• Having good experience in web testing stack - Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine.

• Familiar with continuous Integration tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Yarn, NPM and Bower and can configure these tools.

• Have knowledge and experience with Rollup, Web-pack and Node based CLI's.

• Experience in Front-end design patterns and architecture.

• Familiarity with Micro-front-end strategies.

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in Agile / Scrum or as a Scrum Master.

• Back End & Devops awareness (understand the global architecture / infrastructure).

• Testing: Unit Testing (Techniques: White-box/ Black-box, What is a unit?); Type of testing (unit testing, integration and smoke); Junit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, Mockmvc, Wiremock, Powermock).

• Maven.

• Docker, Openshift or Kubernetes.

• Ansible.

• Git.

• DDD.

• CI / CD pipelines.

• Agile team experience with SCRUM or Kanban or XP.

• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.

• Strong communication Skills

Desirable:

• Experience of Java including the Spring framework.

Estamos buscando a una persona talentosa y entusiasta Frontend Software Engineer para unirse a nuestro equipo.

Como Frontend Software Engineer con experiencia, tus funciones incluirán:

• Diseñar, desarrollar y probar el código que da forma a los diferentes componentes de nuestras aplicaciones, asegurando funcionalidad, calidad y rendimiento.

• Entregar software funcional en Producción utilizando las mejores tecnologías y prácticas de desarrollo, incluyendo la documentación y parámetros necesarios para lograrlo.

• Dar soporte a Producción analizando y resolviendo incidencias o errores.

• Contribuir a la excelencia técnica colaborando con los capítulos técnicos transversales.

Como Frontend Software Engineer en una de nuestras retail tribes, deberías aportar el siguiente conocimiento y experiencia:

• Sólidos conocimientos de JavaScript y amplia experiencia desarrollando aplicaciones Frontend con JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML y CSS (últimas versiones).

• Amplia experiencia con frameworks Frontend y desarrollo de web components con uno o más de estos frameworks: Angular 8+, ReactJS, Polymer o Lit-HTML/Lit-Element.

• Experiencia en TDD (Test Driven Development) y automatización de pruebas.

• Conocimientos de JSON, REST y servicios web.

• Experiencia con herramientas de testing web (Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine).

• Familiaridad con herramientas de Integración Continua como GIT, Jenkins, Yarn, NPM y Bower, y capacidad para configurarlas.

• Experiencia con Rollup, Webpack y CLIs basados en Node.

• Comprensión profunda de patrones de diseño y arquitectura Frontend.

• Familiaridad con estrategias de micro-frontends.

• Fluidez en inglés (oral y escrito).

• Habilidades sólidas de comunicación y trabajo colaborativo.

• Experiencia en entornos Agile/Scrum o como Scrum Master.

• Conocimiento de conceptos de Backend y DevOps (arquitectura e infraestructura global).

• Experiencia con herramientas de testing como JUnit y frameworks de mocks (Mockito, MockMVC, Wiremock, Powermock).

• Experiencia con Maven, Docker, OpenShift o Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, DDD y pipelines CI/CD.

• Experiencia previa en equipos Agile (Scrum, Kanban o XP).

• Experiencia con Java, incluido el framework Spring.
