Warehouse Associate

Receives, stocks and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.   Responsibilities include operating hand trucks and fork lifts, as well as administrative responsibilities using computer systems and programs.

• Receives material from suppliers and production and verifies accuracy of packing lists against Purchase orders using SAP purchasing Screens or "Boxing report".
• Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production areas.
• Records quantities of material or items received or distributed by use of Material Requisitions, Receiving Ticket, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operates material handling equipment such as fork truck, electronic counting/weighing scales. 

• Previous experience operating a fork lift is required. Previous inventory experience is a plus. 
• Must be able to work in a team enviornment under high pressure conditions.
• 1-2 years of Warehouse experience desired but not required.  
• This position requires lifting up to at least 50 pounds, handling 12 foot long crates with fork lift, and computer (email and SAP) skills.
