We are looking for an
Architect
to support the design, production, and implementation of both office and special projects, ensuring alignment with LOEWE's corporate guidelines and brand values at all times.

As part of the
Architecture team
, you will be based at our
Madrid HQ
and report to the
Head of Special Projects
.

Your role will be:

  • Project manager for the conceptual design and layout development of both special projects and new LOEWE offices. Responsible for designing proposals that are feasible in terms of execution, budget, and timing. Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings, prototypes, and presentations.
  • Develop creative moodboards and source visual references to support the design process and communicate ideas effectively. Prepare creative proposals and presentations to explain project concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Production and implementation of the projects, ensuring the highest quality standards are met and that work is delivered within the allocated budget. Monitor project costs and timelines closely. Supplier coordination: tracking orders, budgets, materials and samples to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Interdepartmental coordination to gather project requirements and ensure all needs are addressed and met.
  • Liaise with external companies involved in the implementation of each project, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout all phases.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and guarantee compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Support research and sourcing of new materials, furniture, and innovative techniques. Stay up-to-date with trends in design, art, fashion, and architecture, and apply this knowledge to enhance both office and special projects.

What is important for the role:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience as an architect, with a strong focus on office design projects, as well as experience in ephemeral architecture and/or retail projects.
  • Proficient in graphic representation skills including 2D drawings (Autocad), 3D drawings (SketchUp, 3D Studio, Rhino) and Adobe (Photoshop, lllustrator and InDesign). Office package including Excel
  • Be up to date of design, art, fashion and architecture tendencies
  • Team-work and good communication skills
  • Creative problem solver
  • Analytical and strong organization skills
  • Creativity and innovation highly valued. A portfolio will be appreciated.
  • Advanced level of Spanish and English is mandatory
