Software Development Engineer
to join our team in
Madrid, Spain
on a contract basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects reported by customers, ensuring product stability and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform efficient debugging to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation following internal standards.
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and implement software optimizations.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams—Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, and Global Operations—to build high‑quality, reliable software.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, leveraging shared expertise and diverse backgrounds.
  • Coordinate development activities across teams and functional areas.


Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of
    Object-Oriented Design
    and
    Java programming
    .

Hands‑on experience with
cloud‑native technologies
such as:

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes

  • Microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with the
    full product development lifecycle
    , including production support.

  • Ability to deliver high‑quality solutions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing deliverables effectively.
  • Strong reporting discipline regarding project status, potential risks, and relevant technical challenges.
  • Experience in
    software maintenance
    and working within
    Agile Scrum teams
    .
