Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute end-to-end recruitment processes for IT and technology roles — including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding — ensuring high-quality and timely hires.
Build and scale a high-performing tech talent pool for our new technology hub in Valencia, directly contributing to the company's growth and success.
Develop and implement local employer branding strategies to position the company as an employer of choice in the Spanish tech market, achieving measurable candidate satisfaction and engagement.
Ensure consistent and effective communication of the employer brand across all candidate touchpoints, from sourcing through onboarding.
Manage, mentor, and support recruitment teams, driving performance, collaboration, and goal achievement in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate closely with international stakeholders, particularly the Berlin-based teams, to align recruitment strategies, tools, and processes.
Adapt and localize global recruiting processes to meet market needs while maintaining consistency with corporate standards.
Use data and analytics to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness and efficiency, identifying bottlenecks and designing process improvements.
Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, job boards, and universities to enhance sourcing capabilities and strengthen employer visibility.
Provide market insights, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to support business decision-making and workforce planning.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture at the Valencia site, acting as a cultural ambassador for the local and international teams.
Represent the company externally at tech community events, university partnerships, and networking initiatives to build long-term talent relationships.
Ensure an outstanding candidate experience, incorporating feedback and driving initiatives that maintain satisfaction scores.
Occasionally travel to Berlin for workshops, team meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in IT recruitment within the Spanish market, ideally in senior or leadership roles.
Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including software engineering, data, infrastructure, and emerging tech trends.
Demonstrated experience in building and leading recruitment teams and managing full-cycle hiring at scale.
Track record of meeting challenging hiring goals and optimizing time-to-hire through strategic sourcing, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience in employer branding, including designing and executing campaigns that increase visibility and attract quality talent.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) — experience with Greenhouse is highly valued.
Proven ability to use technology and analytics tools to improve recruiting processes and outcomes.
Strong strategic mindset, capable of balancing short-term hiring needs with long-term talent growth initiatives.
Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken); German is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience in setting up recruitment functions for new business units, locations, or markets.
Background in international recruitment and collaboration within cross-cultural teams.
Expertise in process optimization, using tools and analytics to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
Demonstrated success in university relations and building long-term partnerships with educational institutions.
Ability to adapt employer branding and recruitment strategies to diverse cultural and market contexts.
Soft skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to engage effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and executives.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
High emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to put oneself in the candidate's shoes to deliver exceptional experiences.
Resilient under pressure; able to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Analytical and reflective, capable of using insights from feedback and data to drive better recruitment outcomes.
Collaborative team player with a global mindset, comfortable working across geographies and cultures.
