Accounting Specialist

Permanent contract
/ Marbella, Spain

Main responsibilities & tasks:

  • Oversee GL, AP, and technical accounting operations
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting & audit processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax & finance teams
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, and other financial professionals, culminating in a timely and accurate audit process.
  • Experience with reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.

Candidate's Profile:

7+ years of post-qualification experience

Deep knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks, IFRS a plus

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Excellent communication skills in English, French is a plus.

Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (MS Dynamics is a plus)

Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines

High attention to detail with a strong grasp of the big picture

Experience preparing statutory financials
