Senior Procurement Category Manager, Technology
hace 2 días
Our Team:
Cimpress Services' central teams allow us to remain entrepreneurial; to stay small as we grow. These teams enable our businesses to remain laser-focused on their customers and build the tools and services that make Cimpress greater than the sum of our businesses. We are problem solvers. We are storytellers. We are forward thinking. We are relationship builders. We are responsible for company-wide activities like accounting, capital allocation, global tax planning, procurement, communicating with
internal and external stakeholders and protecting the company through compliance and risk management. We're evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress'
rapid growth.
What You Will Do:
Conduct thorough market research and internal analysis to understand the trends, risks, and opportunities within the Technology category (including all subcategories: cloud infrastructures and services, SaaS, business solutions, CRM, cybersecurity, collaboration tools, etc…). Based on this analysis, develop procurement strategies and implement projects that align with the organization's objectives, focusing on cost reduction, spend control and demand management, services improvement, and innovation.
Manage relationships with suppliers, including selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and renewals, and managing ongoing performance. This involves working closely with suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability.
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as technology, operations, and finance teams, to understand their needs and ensure the procurement strategy supports the overall business goals. The category manager acts as a bridge between the company and the suppliers, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of objectives.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and ethical sourcing. This includes developing contingency plans to manage risks and ensuring that procurement practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate social responsibility standards.
Play a critical role in developing and implementing sustainable procurement practices. This includes identifying and prioritizing environmentally friendly and ethically sourced indirect goods and services, engaging with suppliers to encourage sustainable practices, and ensuring that the company's supply chain meets established sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones that can drive company revenue growth. By leveraging insights from market analysis and supplier capabilities, the strategic procurement category manager collaborates with product development teams to bring innovative products to market, ensuring alignment with consumer demands and competitive differentiation.
Participate and support procurement projects in other indirect categories as opportunities arise.
Your Qualifications:
At Cimpress, we are striving to hire individuals that add new ideas and perspectives to our teams and enhance our culture. No matter your background or work experience, we strongly encourage you to apply—even if you feel that you don't meet the exact
requirements or have the same qualifications. You might be a great candidate for this or other opportunities.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Technical field.
Possess a minimum of five years of experience in Category Management for

Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of business analysis, costing, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
Advanced proficiency in the Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
Complete fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Fundamental knowledge of legal documentation, with the capability to interpret contracts and determine when to engage legal support.
Willingness to travel globally around 20% of the time, with peaks up to 25%.
