Join the digital architecture team of dsm-firmenich, where we don't just see the future - we create it. As a Digital Solution Architect, you'll be a vital part of our diverse digital workforce, driving the development of strategic plans that encompass people, processes, technology, and data.

You will collaborate closely with other architects, agile teams, and business stakeholders to shape the future of our company. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of topics, in a global context, across all business units of the company.

Furthermore, as a new company, dsm-firmenich presents a significant opportunity for technology professionals, particularly in the field of architecture. The merger of the two companies will require the complete redesign of our respective landscapes, presenting a unique challenge. A key aspect of the integration of two companies will involve a comprehensive technology overhaul, particularly in the ERP domain.

Your key responsibilities:

• Define, communicate, and drive the technology landscape covering business capabilities related to Product domain, including, Product Lifecycle Management, product and service creation, Product portfolio management, Regulatory affairs, Regulatory data and document management, Product Safety etc.
• Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand the business strategy, their requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Create a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap that maximizes existing investments and incorporates innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences. Ensuring the architecture remains adaptable to evolving business requirements.
• Design a comprehensive high-level architecture for the solution, encompassing all necessary components and addressing the key dimensions of people, process, technology, and data. Covering both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Establish and promote design principles and standards. Evaluate available technology options to recommend the optimal approach. Determining whether to leverage existing components or procure/build new ones.
• Ensure the future sustainability of our planet by prioritizing green-IT as part of the target architecture.

You bring:

• Experience in IT consulting functions, of which experience in functional and technical consultancy for IT systems and experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of IT/Digital technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of the main processes and business capabilities in the Product domain.
• Hands-on implementation experience with SAP, SAP PLM and/or SAP EH&S
• Good understanding of the SAP ecosystem
• Bachelor's/Master degree in IT or product innovation, creation or manufacturing related study
• Experience in understanding the stakeholder landscape and management.
