Anquor Corporate Finance is an investment banking boutique, specializing in small and mid-cap transactions, advising our clients on sell/buy-side deals, asset disposal, as well as fundraising operations. With more than 30 years' experience in corporate finance, Anquor aims to close an average of more than 10 transactions a year, both domestic and cross-border.

Job description:

As an M&A intern at Anquor Corporate Finance, the student will be part of a young and dynamic team focused on cross-border transactions between Spain and France. During this six-month internship, the student will perform several key tasks that will contribute to the success of the transactions and the growth of the Company.

Main responsibilities:

  • Transaction Execution Assistance (preparation of key distribution material, such as CIM, Teaser, Pitch)
  • Performing Company Valuation (DCF, transaction comps, trading comps, and projections for strategic decisions)
  • Market Research and Analysis (industry screening, sector analysis, and analysis of relevant financial and market information)
  • Due Diligence Support (assist in the due diligence process, gathering and reviewing information, preparing due diligence reports and summaries, organization of the VDR)
  • Skills Development (develop competencies in financial tools and presentation techniques, participate in training sessions and professional development activities)

This experience will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the M&A process, improve their analytical and financial skills, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment. Your contribution will be critical to the success of transactions and to strengthening Anquor Corporate Finance's position in the M&A market.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree from a leading business school with notable academic performance
  • Possibility of signing an internship agreement with your university
  • Strong financial and technical skills with a first experience in corporate finance (M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Big 4, Audit)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with French being an advantage
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work under pressure
