About the Role

We are seeking a Management, Communication, Events & Marketing Intern who will work closely with the leadership team to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you will gain exposure to nonprofit management, stakeholder communication, event coordination, and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate is organised, adaptable, and confident in taking ownership of tasks. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small, mission-driven team. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys balancing structure with creativity and wants to make a real social impact.

Key Responsibilities

Management & Operations

• Support organisational planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Assist with project tracking, reporting, and follow-ups to ensure initiatives stay on schedule.
• Help streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.

Communication

• Support internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters, and partner updates.
• Assist with drafting content for reports, presentations, and outreach materials.
• Coordinate communication with speakers, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and support the President

Events

• Assist in planning, organising, and executing virtual and in-person events.
• Coordinate logistics such as timelines, registrations, speakers, and follow-up communications.
• Support event promotion and post-event reporting and engagement.

Marketing

• Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, and engagement.
• Support brand messaging across platforms to ensure consistency and impact.
• Help track marketing performance and suggest improvements based on insights.

Ideal Profile

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student (or recent graduate) in Business, Communications, Business management, Marketing, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in nonprofit work, social impact, gender equality, and leadership development.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Confident working in a remote, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment.

Experience with social media, events, or project coordination is a plus.
