At Code10, we are expanding our SAP team to support large-scale S/4HANA initiatives across leading international clients. We are looking for a senior developer with strong expertise in ABAP on S/4HANA who enjoys solving complex challenges, contributing to architectural decisions, and delivering clean, scalable and future-proof solutions.

You will work on long-term S/4HANA initiatives in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma and Consumer Goods.

Projects typically include:

  • S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield & Brownfield)
  • System migrations and landscape modernization
  • Integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Rollouts, international deployments and continuous improvement streams
  • Most projects follow Agile / SAP Activate, with direct involvement in architectural decisions and technical design

You will join a multidisciplinary SAP team composed of:

  • Senior ABAP Developers
  • Functional Consultants (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP)
  • Solution Architects
  • QA & Testing Specialists )

You will act as a senior technical reference, collaborate in code reviews, share best practices and participate in the continuous improvement of development standards

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review of functional requirements and technical analysis.
  • Evaluation of impacts and dependencies between objects.
  • Proposal of efficient technical solutions based on SAP standards.
  • Preparation of detailed technical designs (TDs).
  • Definition of structures, interfaces and OData services.
  • Development of ABAP objects following Clean ABAP Guidelines.
  • Implementation of extensions and BAdIs in S/4HANA.
  • Development of reports, forms and automated routines.
  • Execution of unit tests and defect corrections.
  • Support during SIT/UAT phases with key users.
  • Code adjustments and performance optimization.
  • Validation of integration and system performance.
  • Technical support during cutover and post-go-live (hypercare) phases.
  • Issue resolution and continuous improvement maintenance.
  • Preparation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to the client.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • 5–10 years of experience in ABAP development on SAP S/4HANA, participating in implementation, migration, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Advanced command of the simplified data model of S/4HANA (ACDOCA, MATDOC, etc.) and modern ABAP development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • ABAP Objects and Clean ABAP
  • Core Data Services (CDS Views) and AMDP
  • OData Services for Fiori and SAP Gateway
  • ABAP RAP (Restful Application Programming Model) → optional
  • Extensions and BAdIs in S/4HANA
  • Forms (Adobe Forms, Smartforms)
  • Integration developments via APIs, RFCs, Web Services
  • Performance and debugging tools (ST12, SAT, ATC)
  • Understanding of integration tools (e.g., IDocs, RFCs, SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, SAP Activate) and collaborating with functional consultants from FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.
  • Focus on code quality, maintainability, and reusability following SAP development standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • High level of English.

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 development.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Workflow or BRF+.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and version control (e.g., Git, SAP Cloud ALM).
