Your new role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer highly focused on automation and test environment optimization. This role will be key in ensuring application quality through the implementation of automated tests, management of cloud environments, and close collaboration with development and DevOps teams.

Test Lifecycle Automation:
Design and maintain automation frameworks with Playwright (TypeScript/C#) to validate complex web flows.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate the provisioning and deprovisioning of ephemeral environments in Azure, ensuring clean-state tests for each pull request.

CI/CD Integration:
Architect and manage pipelines in GitLab CI/CD to run automated tests, control deployments, and generate detailed reports.

Test Data Management (TDM):
Develop strategies and scripts to generate, mask, and inject test data into SQL/NoSQL databases, ensuring consistency.

Environment Orchestration:
Monitor and optimize the cost and health of resources in Azure, ensuring immediate shutdown after use.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to align the test infrastructure with deployment strategies.

What will you need to fit in it?

Experience with:

  • Automation Tools:
    Playwright (
    preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL, Resource Groups).
  • DevOps &
    CI/CD:
    GitLab CI (YAML configuration), Runners, and environment scoping.
  • Scripting & Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript,
    C#,
    or Python; Bash/PowerShell for scripting.
  • Data Management:
    SQL Server/Oracle
    (queries, data seeding), JSON/XML data management.
  • Version Control: Git (GitLab), branching strategies, and Merge Request workflows.
  • Infrastructure Tools: Terraform or Azure Bicep for environment provisioning.
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish
