- Source of Fund & Wealth Investigation: Perform daily, end-to-end reviews of Source of Funds (SoF) / Source of Wealth (SoW) cases (both crypto and fiat) for retail and business customers, applying necessary corrective measures and identifying red flags.
- Customer Due Diligence: Analyze user financial data and explanations and collect necessary additional documents to perform the Enhanced Due Diligence to assess and mitigate the exposure to higher money laundering risk.
- Advanced Crypto Risk Investigation & Reporting: Conduct in-depth investigations on complex crypto cases, using specialized tools (i.e., Chainalysis, Elliptic) and OSINT. Prepare comprehensive reports, and escalate cases to the AMLO with recommendations on whether a SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) has to be filed.
- Transaction Monitoring (TM) & Process Triggering: Conduct regular TM reviews to assess if a follow-up PoF/W request is needed, balancing the overall customer experience with strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Operational Strategy & Enhancement: Provide crucial insights and recommendations for streamlining and enhancing PoF/W and TM processes, proactively participating in projects utilizing new technologies (e.g., AI/ML) to improve AML Operations.
- At least 3 years of proven success in a similar role, gained in management consulting firms, FinTechs, startups, or VASPs with non-face-to-face customers.
- Strong knowledge of the AML regulation (e.g. the AML Directives, the FM-GwG, the ESAs AML/CFT Guidelines);
- Knowledge of the cryptocurrencies field, with proven experience in digital assets compliance and experience working with at least one investigation tool connected to cryptocurrency transactions (e.g. Chainalysis, Elliptic).
- Comprehensive understanding of all types of financial crime patterns and of the AML / CTF landscape, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Please Note: Preference to work in the early morning shift (7:30 to 15:30). This position is for a Sunday to Thursday schedule.
