We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Manager to join our IT Portfolio Management team. The role is pivotal in supporting IT Portfolio Management in defining and monitoring IT processes related to IT Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including demand, project and portfolio processes. The role liaises closely with stakeholders from Group IT and Segment IT organizations, seeking group-wide harmonization of processes and methods.

 

Main Responsibilities & Key Tasks

  • Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of IT Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) processes aligned with enterprise standards, best practices, as well as software standards.
  • Closely liaise with stakeholders from Group IT and other Segment IT organizations, targeting harmonization and alignment of management processes and methods.
  • In this context, be a leading contributor to continuous improvement of IT governance and its bodies and support its deployment into the organization.
  • Assess and oversee demand intake processes, ensuring all requests are assessed, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Assess and oversee project lifecycle processes including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to consistency, governance, and quality standards.
  • Assess and oversee portfolio management processes to balance resource allocation, project prioritization, investment appraisal, and risk management across IT initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to assess project performance, portfolio health, value delivery, and overall alignment with IT strategy.
  • Drive process improvements in IT demand, project, and portfolio management, including automation opportunities and integration within ITSM.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and audit requirements related to IT project and portfolio management processes.

Your Profile 

  • Comprehensive experience in IT portfolio management, PMO, IT governance, or related functions—preferably in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Healthcare. 
  • Proven track record of defining, implementing, monitoring, and improving processes.
  • Experience working in multinational, matrixed environments with diverse stakeholders.
  • A degree in economics, computer science, or information technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMI, Prince2, SAFe, or TBM are highly desirable. 
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (CMMI, TOGAF, ISO/IEC 20000, Lean IT) and tools like ServiceNow is a plus.
