Electrical Procurement Engineer

We are looking for an
Electrical Procurement Engineer
to manage the procurement and delivery of electrical infrastructure for solar farms and battery energy storage systems. In this role, you will ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials and equipment to support the successful execution of renewable energy projects.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide accurate and high-quality quotations and proposals aligned with INTEC's business strategy, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Analyse electrical drawings, designs, and technical specifications to create RFQs and understand the project's material and equipment needs.
• Monitor project schedules, issue purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery of electrical equipment in line with project deadlines.
• Obtain and assess quotes from suppliers, conduct technical reviews, and collaborate with project teams to optimize pricing and delivery timelines.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, adherence to contracts, and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Perform cost analysis for tenders and ongoing projects, assist Business Development and estimators in tender preparation, and ensure that procurement timelines and pricing are accurate

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Extensive experience in procurement
  within the electrical industry, specifically for solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
• Proficiency in procurement processes
  , including cost analysis, RFQs, technical evaluation, and supplier negotiations.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation processes
  , single-line diagrams, and the ability to interpret designs for material and equipment requirements.
• Experience managing commercial contracts
  , ensuring supplier compliance, and familiarity with ERP systems and AutoCAD for procurement and design review.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
