About the Job

The Data Product Expert – Finance & Controlling will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions that enable accurate financial reporting, consolidation, and advanced analytics. This role combines deep functional finance expertise with modern data technologies to deliver actionable insights, support digital transformation, and ensure compliance across global operations. You will act as a bridge between Finance and Data teams, driving innovation and efficiency in financial data products while implementing robust data governance practices.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and maintain robust data pipelines connecting TM1 (source system), ERP's (SAP) and other accounting systems to Snowflake (data warehouse) and downstream analytics platforms.

• Perform source-to-target mappings for new reporting requirements, ensuring full traceability and compliance.

• Create semantic layers for visualization tools to enable intuitive and accurate data consumption.

• Analyze source system data and define business rules for Finance and Controlling processes.

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, empowering stakeholders with real-time insights.

• Support AI and advanced analytics use cases by provisioning high-quality, structured data.

• Implement and enforce data governance frameworks, including Data Quality Management, Data Cataloging, and Metadata Management.

• Drive adoption of governance tools and best practices across teams.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across multiple SAP sources and consolidation processes.

• Conduct regression impact assessments for digital finance products to safeguard stability during changes.

• Provide Level 3 support for complex data issues and advanced analysis.

• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.

Required Technical Expertise

• Strong functional background in Finance and Controlling.

• Experience with financial planning and consolidation systems (Boost TM1, Boost CRT, BPC etc.).

• Proficiency in SAP Finance reporting (S/4 HANA, ECC), including profitability analysis and controlling modules.

• Expertise in financial consolidation across multiple SAP sources.

• Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.

• Familiarity with Databricks for big data processing and advanced analytics.

• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and report creation.

• Knowledge of data governance tools, including Informatica and Unity Catalog.

• Relevant certifications in SAP, TM1, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, or Informatica are a plus.

Your Background

• 8+ years of experience in finance system architecture, data analytics, and project management.

• Consulting experience in Finance Implementation projects.

• Proven track record in complex transformation projects with multiple deployments.

• Strong project management skills in data and analytics.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Experience in consumer healthcare or FMCG is highly desirable.

• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French are a plus.
