Corporate Travel Agent (English & German)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced
Corporate Travel Agent
with a strong background in travel agency operations. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience in a corporate travel environment (e.g., Amex GBT, BCD Travel, FCM) and is proficient in
Amadeus GDS (cryptic)
and
Concur Travel
for booking and managing travel services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and book domestic and international travel for employees, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and train tickets.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company travel policies and cost guidelines.
  • Provide responsive support for travel-related issues, including itinerary changes, cancellations, and urgent requests.
  • Collaborate with travel vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize travel programs and improve cost efficiency.
  • Process corporate credit card statements related to travel expenses.
  • Purchase travel services such as hotel accommodations for meetings and events.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience working in a corporate travel agency (e.g., Amex GBT, BCD Travel, FCM).
  • Completed apprenticeship or academic degree in travel management/travel agency or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in
    Amadeus Selling Platform (cryptic)
    for booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and rail.
  • Experience with online booking tools, especially
    Concur Travel
    .
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in
    English and German
    .
  • Knowledge of
    IATA regulations
    .
