Prototypist (Leather)

We are looking for a Prototypist to join our Development team on a temporary basis.

This role is responsible for the physical creation and assembly of leather products. It is a fundamental part of the Atelier team, working under direct supervision to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and efficiency in the development process. T

Your role will be:

• Ensure the timely completion and delivery of all components and prototypes related to the LG collections
• Create any kind of leather products, with the ability to meticulously focus on the finer or smallest aspects (high attention to details)
• Ensure accuracy and excellence in the work or task performed, and in case of need; design from scratch or change patterns manually.

What is important for this role:

• Proven experience as a leather goods craftsman, artisan, or similar role within a luxury or high-end production environment
• Proficiency in traditional leather working techniques (e.g., hand-stitching, edge finishing, skiving, pattern cutting)
• Experience with industrial leather sewing machines and other specialized atelier equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot technical challenges
• High level of precision and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
