About the Role

As a Financial Accounting Trainee, you will support the daily financial operations of the company while developing practical knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal processes. This role is ideal for someone beginning their career in finance who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to grow within a structured and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliations, and invoice processing.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Help maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team members on ongoing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the finance department.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (a plus).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
