We will soon be opening an opportunity to join our Software Production team as a Software Test & Validation Engineer, where you will take part in testing, validating, and improving the software that powers our payloads and embedded systems. This role offers hands-on experience, continuous learning, and exposure to the full software validation lifecycle.

As a Software Test & Validation Engineer, your purpose will be to support the testing, automation, and validation of payload and embedded software, ensuring reliable operation across all mission conditions. Your work will help detect anomalies early, optimize performance, and contribute to the robustness of SATLANTIS' software production pipeline.

You will be involved in test execution, scripting, data analysis, documentation, and integration activities, taking ownership of your areas while learning from an experienced team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• You will execute software tests for payload and embedded systems, identifying anomalies and ensuring correct behaviour across mission scenarios.
• You will assist in building and maintaining automated testing tools and scripts that support validation workflows and improve efficiency.
• You will document, analyze, and report test results, helping strengthen software quality and contributing to continuous improvement.

• Experience with Python and Bash scripting: These skills will help you run tests, automate processes, and analyze software behaviour efficiently.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems: Familiarity with platforms such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or Arduino will enable you to understand how software interacts with hardware.
• Foundations in programming and testing: Knowledge of C/C++ or experience with technical projects will support your growth in embedded validation environments.
• Curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving mindset: A proactive attitude and willingness to explore new tools, methods, and ideas will accelerate your development.
• Collaborative communication: Working effectively with engineers from different disciplines will help you learn quickly and contribute from day one.
• Fluency in English: Clear communication in English will enable participation in technical discussions and documentation.
