Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Protection Expert to join our dynamic team and help us transform the way we serve our customers.

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all personal data belonging to our customers and employees is secure and protected, in compliance with relevant policies and regulations (GDPR). We carry out risk assessments to identify and mitigate data protection risks, monitor data transfers, record and track personal data breaches, and add value to the business by ensuring the highest level of privacy and data protection in its contracts and process flows.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Protection Expert in the DPE Office Team you will:

1. Ensure compliance with and implementation of Privacy related regulations at the bank.

2. Conduct Data Protection related Risk Assessments, for which we work with the business owners to carry out DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), TIAs (Transfer Impact Assessments), LIAs (Legitimate Interest Assessment),

and record the processing activities in the RoPA (Register of Processing Activities).

1. Document and manage personal data breaches.

2. Ensure compliance with the Retention & Deletion policy within the bank.

3. Monitor third parties, ensuring compliance with these data protection policies by the suppliers we work with.

4. Design and implement Privacy related Training and Awareness programs across the organization.

5. Act as a trusted advisor to business units and IT teams, providing guidance on privacy requirements in new products, services, and processes.

6. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Qualifications:

• University degree.
• Fluency in English.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Protection areas.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
• Responsibility, decisiveness, and a commitment to quality.
• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 solutions (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint…) and data protection tools.
• Valuable: Professional certification or specialization in Data Protection
