Marketing & Events Intern – Barcelona Techies / Metapilot Academy

Metapilot Academy connects senior leaders from aerospace, defense, space, and mobility industries worldwide, including top executives at Boeing, Airbus, and Lockheed Martin. In Barcelona, we are growing the Barcelona Techies community—a vibrant network for students, young professionals, and tech enthusiasts eager to build connections and learn from industry pioneers.

Role Overview

This internship is perfect for university students based in Barcelona who want to gain practical experience in event management, marketing, and business development while building a powerful professional network in the tech ecosystem. You will support the growth and scaling of Barcelona Techies events and contribute to expanding Metapilot Academy's partnerships with companies and investors.

Responsibilities

  • Help organize and manage engaging Barcelona Techies meetups, workshops, and networking events.
  • Assist in marketing outreach and help close sales for Metapilot Academy's exclusive programs.
  • Identify new venues and build partnerships with local companies, startups, and investors.
  • Network actively to grow the Barcelona tech community and open doors to new collaborations.
  • Manage email communications and social media content to promote events and programs.
  • Run paid ads on social platforms to attract attendees and program applicants.

Compensation

This is a commission-based internship with no fixed base salary, offering meaningful success commissions for each partnership or program sale you help close.
