We're now seeking an exceptional Finance Director to lead our finance function — a forward-thinking leader who can combine strategic insight with operational excellence, guiding the group through its next chapter of growth.

The Role

The Finance Director will oversee the financial health, integrity and performance of the group. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll work closely with the Founder, CEO and department heads across Operations, People, Marketing and Projects and Transformation — ensuring our strategy is supported by sound financial planning and strong governance.

You will oversee all aspects of accounting, reporting, and financial control across our restaurants and group entities in Spain, ensuring robust performance, accuracy and insight-driven decision-making that supports the group's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the group's financial strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
  • Provide senior leadership with clear financial insights to drive performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, advisors and external partners.

Financial Management & Compliance

  • Oversee monthly management accounts, annual reports and group consolidations.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish accounting and tax regulations (PGC, AEAT, IVA, IS, IRPF).
  • Manage treasury, liquidity and working capital across the group.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Implement new tools, processes and reporting systems to improve efficiency and transparency.

People & Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate financial performance and insights clearly across all levels of the organisation.
  • Support operational teams in understanding and managing their financial responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Master's in Financial Management, Auditing, or Controlling (preferred).
  • Registration with the
    Colegio de Economistas
    or
    Titulados Mercantiles
    (advantageous).
  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience in senior financial management, ideally within hospitality, multi-site, or group-level organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of the
    Spanish accounting system (PGC)
    and national tax regulations.

Languages

  • Fluent Spanish
    is essential.
  • Strong English proficiency
    required for interaction with international colleagues and partners.
