One of our clients is seeking a
Purchasing Manager
a dynamic professional to lead its supply chain and purchasing operations in Spain.
About the role
This strategic position will be based in
Barcelona
and will play a key role in ensuring the supply of high-quality products across Spain, while maintaining service levels and business continuity.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive purchasing strategy, manage suppliers and stocks, and oversee the distribution center.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supervise distribution and manage the distribution center
• Develop and maintain supply chain databases
• Manage supplier performance and resolve non-conformances
• Update product specifications and pricing
• Analyze departmental performance quarterly
• Support global standardization of systems and reporting
What we're looking for:
• 5+ years in Purchasing & Supply Chain (F&B or FMCG)
• Experience managing teams and supply chain databases
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Fluency in
Spanish & English
• Based in Barcelona, with occasional travel
