MISSION

We are seeking a motivated intern to support our Global Market Access team at Almirall's headquarters in Barcelona. Global Market Access mission is to build up the best portfolio in Medical Dermatology with innovative products that intrinsically fulfill payers' needs. Early Market Access is a strategic sub-team within Global Market Access that provides price and reimbursement insights and direction for R&D and Licensing efforts. It ensures constant alignment with the evolving external market conditions, competition and the anticipated market access related challenges.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse product pipeline and gain valuable experience in a highly qualified team, all within a stimulating and pleasant working atmosphere.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, understand, and synthesize relevant market access information from key markets and competitors across dermatological indications to keep our projects current.

  • Analyze HTA assessments and monitor Healthcare environments and policies, such as the new EU HTA Regulation, to inform our products' strategy in a timely manner.

  • Help with the assessment of pricing potential and market access opportunities/risks for molecules in our clinical development.

  • Closely work with transversal teams at global and local (EU, US) levels.

  • Manage interactions with external vendors or internal teams when needed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, or a comparable degree.

  • A master's in health economics, Market Access, Business Administration, or comparable is desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus.
