Cocinero-cook/BBQ smoker

Hello we are an American and Swedish couple with two well respected family run restaurants on the island of Gotland in Sweden. We are looking for a BBQ Pit Master/Smoker -Kitchen Assistant position for our 2026 season (beginning January You must speak English WELL (interviews are via SKYPE or What's APP and will be in English only); at least 1 year experience in the kitchen necessary. You must have an EU passport or long term resident visa in an EU country allowing you to work in the EU (we do not provide VISAs). Lodging is also provided during employment.

Job Description:

You are a motivated, organized and self-sufficient individual. You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of our menu and dishes in accordance with the recipes provided and under the guidance of Erik and I. You will maintain a clean and organized kitchen and participate in the cleaning of food preparation, food storage and other restaurant areas as required. You maintain food quality, preparation, handling, storage and freshness in accordance with current food safety and health regulations.
