Business Project Manager

Role Summary: 

As a Project Manager working in the International Organisations (IOH) Strategic Execution and Portfolio Team, you will play a will play a key role in the delivery of key Business strategic initiatives as well as supporting the delivery of the broader IO Transformation Portfolio.  

The role will involve building successful relationships across Business and IT, ,  to advocate, communicate, prioritise, define and deliver  change. 

The successful candidate will be an individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for delivering strategic and transformational change across global organizations. 

Responsibilities (including but not restricted to): 

• Lead the delivery of IO Projects - Leading/co-ordinating small-medium projects in support of the overall IO Strategic Transformation  / Change portfolio. This includes, but is not restricted t, o Commercial, Operations, Finance and Regulatory initiatives 
• Lead/Participate in delivery of Cross-Portfolio (Multi Book of Business) initiatives 
• Portfolio Support – Support the Portfolio Leader and Senior Project Manager on a range of Governance tasks that ensure the efficient running / management of the IO Portfolio 
• Facilitation of key forums – Lead key regular  checkpoints. Collaborating with the Business and It colleagues to ensure alignment on IO priorities 
• Monthly IOH SLT (Senior Leadership Team) Portfolio call preparation – Content creation, event co-ordination and tracking of action delivery.

Skills and Experience: 

• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile delivery models 
• Experience working with IHDS teams, as well as Commercial and Legal and Regulatory functions 
• Experience partnering with IT teams on BAU  / Strategic deliverables 
• Experience of working in or close partnering with IOH Organisation preferred
• Focused and highly organised with the ability to work to tight timelines and evolving priorities. 
• Experience working within a PMO governance framework either in Cigna or another organisation would be beneficial. 
• Ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with Senior Executive/Senior Managers, and comfortable with liaising / providing information to a diverse stakeholder group. 
• Strong facilitation skills – comfortable with hosting and reaching out to a diverse stakeholder groups and able to demonstrate leadership to generate inputs/contributions. 
• Ability to deliver well-structured communication through delivery of presentations and other tailored content. 
• Good 'Business Acumen', with the ability to 'connect the dots' between stakeholders and content, ensuring the delivery of the right business outcomes. 
• Able to work independently or as part of a team, including working remotely from other teams with limited supervision (and infrequent day-day contact) 
• Data driven and passionate about driving improvements to the way we work including the adoption of 'new' Enterprise technologies 
• Experience and competence with Advanced Microsoft applications – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
