We are seeking an experienced engineer to perform the migration of the client's VMware estate from on-premises infrastructure to Azure VMware Solution (AVS).

Remote working from anywhere in Spain is welcome

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the migration of VMware workloads from on-premises to AVS
  • Configure and optimize AVS infrastructure for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during migration
  • Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity throughout the migration
  • Provide post-migration support and optimization

Requirements

  • Proven experience with VMware vSphere and related technologies
  • Hands-on experience migrating VMware workloads to cloud platforms, preferably AVS
  • Strong understanding of Azure VMware Solution architecture and features
  • Familiarity with networking, storage, and security concepts in VMware and Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Azure certifications) are a plus
  • French speaking is a plus
