Senior Automation QA Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team in Spain.

About the role:

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructures while working closely with developers and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and high system reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute both manual and automated tests
• Improve and maintain automation routines and regression plans
• Create and manage the Quality Planning strategy, including estimation and prioritization of testing activities
• Prepare regular quality and performance reports to identify improvement areas
• Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in QA roles for both front-end and back-end systems
• Hands-on experience with Automated Testing Frameworks (e.g., Gherkin, BDD)
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming and API testing
• Experience planning test efforts and writing scripts for manual and automated tests
• Ability to diagnose issues and work collaboratively with developers and QA teams
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and analytical skills

Desirable:

• Experience with test automation and scripting using C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Postman, Git, and Jira
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Jira Xray, or similar
• Knowledge of SQL, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and performance optimization
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
