The ISG Category Options Sr. Manager m/f/d is a pivotal role supporting Lenovos Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Options business. This permanent position is ideal for a strategic leader with deep experience in sales, product management, and market analysis, who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will drive the growth and optimization of the server and storage options portfolio, collaborating internationally with sales, procurement, development, and category teams. Occasional international travel and regular interaction with global teams are required; hybrid and remote work arrangements may be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a unified Options strategy in partnership with ISG Category leadership and all ISO geographies.
- Curate and analyze market data to inform decision-making and harmonize business processes across regions.
- Lead the creation of the ISG Options Fiscal Year Plan, including quarterly business planning to achieve annual goals.
- Identify business needs and execute growth plans for sales segments and channels in each geographic market.
- Design and execute go-to-market and route-to-market plans for new and existing offerings, ensuring alignment with ISO/GEO strategies.
- Collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders to optimize operational aspects of options, including attach rates and deal value.
- Launch and track segment-specific, data-driven growth initiatives and promotional campaigns, integrating efforts with channel, marketing, and enablement teams.
- Support sales teams by providing feedback, removing roadblocks, and driving improvements in customer satisfaction.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years experience in sales, sales management, product management, or options business.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and other office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and functions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of self-motivation, entrepreneurship, and drive.
- In-depth knowledge of NA/LA/EMEA/APJ server markets and industry dynamics.
- Solid understanding of x86 server technology and the related ecosystem.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are an advantage.
