We're looking to hire two experienced engineers to help build and scale our data processing platforms. This role sits closer to data developer than classical data engineering — you'll be thinking analytically, designing robust pipelines, and building production-grade systems.

Our work focuses on data ingestion, transformation, indexing, and delivery, with modern UIs layered on top of these pipelines. You should be comfortable owning problems end-to-end, from backend data workflows to front-end applications that expose data to users.

Location:
 Europe. Remote, with occasional trip to Madrid or London office (expenses paid).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and build data pipelines on AWS
     (Python-first)
  • Develop and maintain production data workflows
     (batch and near-real-time)
  • Build and evolve user-facing applications
     on top of data platforms
  • Work with our current stack
    , which includes React (recently migrated from Streamlit)
  • Take ownership of front-end delivery
     for internal and external tools (e.g. Brokerflow)
  • Contribute to new initiatives
     such as an index generation platform
  • Collaborate closely with a small, senior team
     to turn ideas into production systems

What You Won't Be Doing

  • No expectation to build or tune ML models (e.g. XGBoost, predictive modelling)
  • This is not a research or data science role

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Python developer
  • Solid AWS experience
     (data services, infrastructure-aware)
  • Analytical mindset
     with experience designing data pipelines
  • Comfortable working across backend and front-end (React)
    , even if not a pure FE specialist
  • Pragmatic, product-focused engineer
     who enjoys building real systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience moving apps from Streamlit → React
  • Experience building indexing or data catalog / platform-style products
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and production monitoring
