Procurement Specialist

- Manage the complete cycle of technical purchases: identification of needs, search for suppliers, request for offers, negotiation, and acquisition
- Track orders and coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and components for laboratory tests and R&D projects.
- Manage customs procedures and documentation related to imports/exports.
- Negotiate prices, purchase conditions, and delivery times with national and international suppliers.
- Optimize delivery times to ensure the continuity of projects and critical tests.
- Maintain and update the database of strategic and approved suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure that the purchased materials meet technical specifications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduction of timelines in the supply chain.
- Identify better material characteristics and report them to the propulsion chief or the appropriate person.
- Prepare purchase reports, costs, and timelines for the CTO and Project Manager.
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar. Specific training in logistics, supply chain or international purchasing is valuable
- 2–5 years in technical purchasing, logistics or procurement departments in technology or R&D companies.
- Technical purchasing processes and supplier management.
- Customs regulations, import/export and international transport.
- Basic technical understanding of materials, electronic, mechanical and laboratory components.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Organization and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Proactivity and results-oriented.
