We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Backend Engineer to join our Mortgages Teams at Mortgages Tribe

The responsibility of this team is to design, build, and maintain scalable digital solutions for multiple mortgages products, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional customer experience across channels.
Our way of working is collaborative, agile, and driven by a DevOps mindset, where we embrace continuous delivery, automation, and ownership of the entire software lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Backend Engineer you will:

• Positively contribute to the development of high-quality, secure, and resilient applications using modern technologies and best practices.

• Co-create innovative solutions with business stakeholders, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver value to our customers.

• Ensure that our microservices are performant, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards and compliance requirements.

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend technologies.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

• A passion for clean code, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to work in an agile environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para unirse como Backend Engineer a nuestros equipos de Hipotecas en la Mortgages Tribe.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es diseñar, construir y mantener soluciones digitales escalables para múltiples productos hipotecarios, garantizando una integración fluida y una experiencia excepcional para la clientela en todos los canales.
Nuestra forma de trabajar es colaborativa, ágil y guiada por una mentalidad DevOps, donde adoptamos la entrega continua, la automatización y la responsabilidad sobre todo el ciclo de vida del software.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Backend Engineer:

• Contribuir positivamente al desarrollo de aplicaciones seguras, resilientes y de alta calidad utilizando tecnologías modernas y buenas prácticas.

• Co-crear soluciones innovadoras junto con personas del negocio, diseñadoras UX y otras ingenieras para aportar valor a nuestra clientela.

• Garantizar que nuestros microservicios sean eficientes, mantenibles y estén alineados con los estándares arquitectónicos y los requisitos de compliance.

¿Qué buscamos?

• Experiencia sólida en Java, Spring Boot u otras tecnologías backend similares.

• Conocimiento profundo de arquitectura de microservicios, diseño de APIs y sistemas orientados a eventos.

• Conocimiento de plataformas cloud (como AWS o Azure) y pipelines de CI/CD.

• Pasión por el código limpio, las pruebas automatizadas y la mejora continua.

• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno ágil, colaborando eficazmente con equipos multidisciplinares.

• Curiosidad y disposición para aprender nuevas tecnologías y enfoques.
