Job Description
The Business Developer – Buyer is responsible for growing the buyer business unit ecosystem. The role focuses on understanding the business unit growth opportunities & their prioritization. By combining market insight, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking, the Business Developer – Buyer contributes directly to marketplace performance, revenue growth, and the expansion of the CNET business.
Job Requirements
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field (Master's is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or marketplace development.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in digital marketplaces, e-commerce, or tech environments is highly desirable.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong acumen in Marketing B2C digital growth, B2C Product & Sales (meaning the ability to make good judgements/ be critical towards those functions).
- Consultancy experience is a plus
- Ideally has already worked in the automotive industry or Marketplace (not mandatory but a +)

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and challenge existing acquisition & retention strategies to increase our qualified user reach.
- Conduct market research to follow up on demand by category, identify trends, competitive dynamics, and new opportunities.
- Work closely with Business units members to challenge the strategic initiatives status quo depending on the performance
- Monitor top of the funnel & conversion performance in every category & detect opportunities to grow.
- Monitor each revenue line & ensure monetization streamline.
- Manage & solve dependencies with other BU
- Monitor ROI of every strategic initiative.
- Budget forecasting & monitoring and story telling building
- Ensure a user and client centric mindset as well as a data driven approach in the BU
