The Role
Perfil Especialista en Observabilidad Splunk:
Administración, configuración, y mantenimiento de la plataforma Splunk, enfocándose en la monitorización y aseguramiento de las aplicaciones críticas en el entorno del cliente.

Colaborará con equipos técnicos para garantizar una óptima visibilidad y resolución de problemas dentro de los sistemas de observabilidad IT.

• Funciones Clave:

• Configuración y gestión de la infraestructura de Splunk, Asegurará una correcta recolección, almacenamiento y análisis de los datos de observabilidad de las aplicaciones monitoreadas.

• Mantenimiento de la integridad y optimización de índices y datos, incluyendo la depuración de registros antiguos o no críticos para asegurar el rendimiento y capacidad de la plataforma.

• Monitoreo de Aplicaciones:

• Implementar y gestionar las soluciones de monitoreo en Splunk adaptadas a las necesidades específicas del cliente, como paneles, alertas y reportes personalizados.

• Supervisar continuamente el estado de las aplicaciones a través de Splunk para detectar y resolver problemas de rendimiento, disponibilidad y seguridad.

• Gestión de Incidentes y Alertas:

• Configuración de alertas proactivas basadas en condiciones críticas o indicadores clave que afecten la disponibilidad o el rendimiento de las aplicaciones.

• Monitoreo de alertas y gestión de incidentes, coordinando una respuesta rápida para minimizar los tiempos de inactividad y optimizar la resolución de problemas.

• Colaboración en Solución de Problemas:

• Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo y soporte para el diagnóstico de problemas y la optimización de aplicaciones mediante análisis detallados en Splunk.

• Proporcionar soporte técnico y capacitar a los equipos del cliente en el uso de Splunk para la interpretación de métricas y registros relevantes.

• Experiencia:

• Configuración avanzada de Splunk, creación de dashboards y alertas, y monitoreo de aplicaciones en tiempo real.

• Conocimientos en Observabilidad y Monitorización: Familiaridad con conceptos de observabilidad, incluyendo métricas, trazabilidad y logs. Experiencia con otras herramientas de monitorización.
• Conocimiento sólido de sistemas operativos (Windows, Linux), redes y manejo de datos en plataformas de observabilidad.
• Habilidades para comunicarse con otros equipos de IT y clientes, entendiendo necesidades técnicas y adaptando soluciones personalizadas en Splunk

Required Technical And Professional Experience

• Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Enterprise IT application experience
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Strong process improvement experience

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• In depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities
• Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
