SAP SD Consultant – Advanced English - Hybrid (Madrid)
We are looking for an experienced
SAP SD Consultant
to join an international environment, supporting and optimizing Sales and Distribution processes within SAP landscapes.


Location:
Julián Camarillo – Ciudad Lineal, Madrid


Contract Type:
Freelance (long term project)


Work Model:
Hybrid – 1–2 days per week onsite at the client's offices at the beginning of the collaboration, with the possibility to reduce to 1 day per week later


Language:
Advanced English (mandatory) & Spanish


Role & Responsibilities

  • Consulting and supporting business processes with effective and efficient applications and solutions.
  • Acquiring and sharing required knowledge and skills, both technical and business-oriented.
  • Managing requirements, stakeholders, and technology to ensure success in projects, changes, incident resolution, and ongoing operations.
  • Ensuring that all relevant compliance tasks and controls are properly implemented.
  • Supporting and attending established HSEE decision bodies.
  • Maintaining, supporting, and optimizing current IT solutions.
  • Providing training on current IT solutions.

Commercial Solutions Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the EBM solution to meet agreed business requirements in terms of quality and Service Level Agreements.
  • Create and maintain training documentation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Review and manage change request documentation to ensure clear reflection of business requirements.
  • Organize and lead agreed training sessions.
  • Support direct supervisors in technical assessments and effort estimations when required (budgeting cycles, effort estimation, etc.).

Required Experience

  • More than 8 years of experience in SAP consulting related to Sales and Distribution solutions and processes (from quoting to invoicing).
  • More than 5 years of experience in international projects.
  • Experience in other logistics process designs is considered a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the use of the ABAP debugger.


Technical Skills

  • SAP SD: Expert
  • SAP MM / FI: Medium
  • Microsoft user applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc.): Medium
  • Ticketing tools (Remedy, Service One): Medium

Other Requirements

  • Structured thinking with strong analytical and target-oriented skills.
  • Proactive personality, able to create and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
  • Ability to handle ambitious targets and tight timeframes.
  • Familiarity with collaborative environments.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as part of the role.


Languages

  • Excellent written and verbal English (mandatory).
  • Spanish and German are an added value.


Education

  • Desirable: University degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
