What you will do:

Ensure the accurate execution, control, and continuous improvement of settlement, invoicing, and accounting processes for energy operations —both in organized markets and OTC—, safeguarding financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and data traceability across internal systems (ETRM/Gemstone, SAP). The role also oversees commodity stock management, accounting balances, and strategic reporting, contributing to the financial transparency and operational efficiency of the organization. The role also oversees KYC control and optimization, integrity due diligence and regulatory compliance, contributing to the financial transparency and operational efficiency of the organization.

General responsibilities:

  1. Settlement, Invoicing and Accounting processes support, om both Organized Markets and OTC operations
  2. Manage and overview processes on the internal reporting system (ETRM/Gemstone), as well as on the accounting system (SAP) Commodities stock management (Gas and CO2)
  3. Accounting balance maintenance (Electric and Gas Markets, financial operations, brokers)
  4. Maintain and implement the departmental reporting line (both periodic and special purpose reports)
  5. Ensure deadline receivable and payable items, managing Entities debts
  6. External/Internal Auditing: Control implementation on SAP and Microsoft tools
  7. Negotiate follow-up of GEM's master contracts (ISDA, EFET, MARCO, others) and guarantees to support performance in OTC markets
  8. Manage GEM's regulatory compliance and integrity processes

What are we looking for:

Academic Skills:

  • University Degree and Graduate Degree in Business & Management, master's degree will be valued.

Professional Experience:

  • Up to 2 years of experience in Settlement, Accounting, Invoicing, Treasury and Tax.
  • Knowledge in Electricity and Gas markets, both physical and financial.
  • Deep knowledge of OTC operations and derivate products.
  • KYC and regulatory compliance.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Required advanced level of SAP Accounting: MM, SD and FI modules. Highly proficiency in SAP tools (Winshuttle and others).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Package: Excel proficiency level.
  • Power BI and other reporting tools are highly valuable.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
