As an intern with us, you'll thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment, influencing decision-making and optimizing product development to the highest standards of integrity and safety within the realms of Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management and other departments.
Is a 6-month internship, where you'll train with the passionate team members who are making a meaningful impact at Edwards and candidates may be retained in the Quality team or other divisions at the end of the program.
Location: Valencia, Spain
Duration: 6 months internship, 30-40 hours/week

Quality Compliance
Focused on supporting partnership satisfaction, you'll investigate customer inquiries and, provide timely resolution to complex obstacles.

Quality Engineering
Dedicated to patient-experience excellence, you'll apply engineering principles and conduct lab experiments to support the quality of our devices.
Key skills: problem solving, communicative
Product and Process Engineering
- Transfer technical knowledge and documents between countries including operating procedures, material lists, and part numbers.
- Support manufacturing process improvements by checking tools and fixtures, understanding assembly steps, and giving input for system models (MES).
Plant Operations Engineering
- Support on projects and technical documentation: Assist in diverse projects across areas like Engineering and Manufacturing, help update drawings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to documentation for quality, validation, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in operational and team activities: Join inspections and walkthroughs, monitor contractors during installation and start-up, collaborate in design and planning meetings, and help troubleshoot issues during equipment and system start-up.
Strategy and AI
- Assist in AI development and improvement: Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of AI agents and solutions, adding new features and performing tasks that advance AI strategy and implementation.
- Collaborate and contribute to AI adoption: Work with cross-functional teams, help prepare communications and training materials to increase AI literacy, and ensure successful deployment and usage of AI tools.
Marketing and events
- Support event logistics, including hotels, service providers, materials preparation, invoice and budget management
- Coordination with internal teams. You will also assist with contract administration, compliance processes and marketing materials.
What you'll need:
Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master´s program in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related engineering field. Candidates with backgrounds in Computer Science, Marketing, or Business related fields are also encouraged to apply for roles in the respective departments
Involved in your final year of the degree, with the possibility of transitioning into a postgraduate role upon successful completion of the internship and graduation
