Your mission

Kreios Space is looking for a highly competent and results-oriented Electrical Engineer specialising in power generation, storage and distribution systems applied to the aerospace environment. Your main mission will be to design, validate and integrate advanced electrical systems, ensuring the performance and energy stability of the equipment developed by the company, including its integration with propulsion, telecommunications and power electronics systems.

This profile will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team, working from component selection to functional validation of prototypes, with a strong focus on energy efficiency, electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.



Your profile
  • Role and Key Objectives
    • Design and integrate solar energy systems: selection of panels, MPPT, protection and regulation.
    • Manage energy storage: battery selection, charge and discharge control, and autonomy calculation.
    • Develop and validate power electronics: DC-DC converters, voltage and current regulation for sensitive loads.
    • Integrate systems with the PPU (Power Processing Unit) under dynamic conditions.
    • Ensure compatibility with RF circuits and telecommunications fundamentals.
    • Perform general electronic design, schematic interpretation and component selection.
    • Execute prototype assembly, instrumentation testing and functional validation.
    • Support basic software and firmware for energy monitoring.
  • Required Experience
    • +4 years of experience in electrical design in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy or advanced electronics.
    • Demonstrable experience in:
      1. Energy generation and storage systems (solar panels, batteries).
      2. Power electronics and DC-DC converters.
      3. Design and validation of complex electronic circuits.
    • Fluid use of laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyser).
    • Previous experience in RF systems or telecommunications integration is an advantage.

We are leading the development of the first air-breathing electric propulsion (ABEP) system designed specifically for Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO). This revolutionary engine enables satellites to orbit between 150 and 300 km by capturing and using atmospheric particles as propellant.
