We're looking for a passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic, global team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our products by designing and automating tests across mobile, web, and backend systems.

Role overview

We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help us promote the quality of 24i's end-to-end portfolio, from our frontend applications to the quality of our product and backend microservices. You'll be primarily focused on Frontend UI Automation using Typescript/Javascript testing frameworks to help reduce manual testing efforts of end-user applications.

This automation project for our frontend applications is product-oriented, multi-platform (Mobile, Web, SmartTVs, and Roku), and end-to-end (including verifications against the common backend). To familiarize yourself with our applications and the company's end-to-end product portfolio, you'll need to understand our frontend challenges. As part of this, you will assist with manual testing to better support the automation project. 

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for multi-platform applications.
• Implement API automation tests to guarantee backend reliability and top-tier performance.
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines for smooth and efficient deployment workflows.
• Lead automation projects to strengthen the QA team from a technical perspective.
• Perform code coverage analysis and generate detailed quality reports.
• Create well-structured test cases and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define and elevate QA standards.
• Participate in both automation and manual testing efforts.
• Perform manual testing on platforms like iOS, Android, Web, LG, Samsung, AppleTV, Roku, and other set-top boxes.
• Identify, document, and track defects using our bug tracking system (JIRA) — ensuring rapid resolution and continuous improvement.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging testing tools and automation technologies.
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience in QA engineering, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of programming languages oriented toward Test Automation, such as Typescript/Javascript, HTML, CSS, and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as Suitest, BrowserStack, Jest, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs. Experience in backend API testing using tools like Postman, Runscope, RestAssured, JMeter, SoapUI, PactFlow, or Insomnia.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience using code coverage tools and analyzing testing metrics.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
