• BOLD Technologies (BT)

Designs, develops and manufactures high-voltage battery systems and electric propulsion system components for defence applications, tactical vehicles, military platforms, aviation and advanced mobility. BOLD is an international benchmark in defence electrification, supplying systems to United States Army programmes and collaborating with leading defence primes in the US and Europe.

• BOLD Applied Engineering (BAE)

Provides top-tier professional engineering services, primarily to elite motorsport teams (especially Formula 1), in areas such as composite design, mechanical engineering, aerodynamics and systems integration. This expertise is transferred directly to complex defence sector programmes.

We are looking for Experienced Business Manager - Engineering Services, Spanish Defence Sector for key strategic role within BOLD.
The company is entering and expanding within the Spanish defence sector, and this position offers the opportunity to work on a blank canvas, building relationships, positioning and business opportunities from the ground up, with long-term, sustainable impact and value.

The role is responsible for managing and developing commercial relationships with defence sector clients, with a particular focus on Spain, operating transversally across BOLD Technologies and BOLD Applied Engineering.

The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and works closely with the CEO, directly influencing BOLD's strategy, growth and positioning within the national and international defence ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial relationships with defence sector clients, particularly in the Spanish market
• Act as the primary strategic point of contact, working closely with clients to capture technical and commercial needs early and accurately
• Identify, develop and unlock new business opportunities with both existing clients and new sector players
• Actively contribute to building BOLD's defence presence in Spain, defining approach, priorities and key relationships
• Understand and manage the distinct nature of both divisions, balancing advanced engineering services and technology/product solutions
• Travel frequently, sometimes weekly, to work directly with clients, programmes and key stakeholders
• Support scope definition, proposal preparation and commercial negotiations
• Represent BOLD at defence industry trade shows and events, mainly in Europe and occasionally globally
• Work closely with internal teams to maximise commercial and technical success

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• Strong background in engineering services, vehicle design or systems integration within the defence sector
• Proven experience working with Spanish defence companies
• Extensive network of contacts within the defence sector, both in Spain and internationally
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, highly technical environments with multiple stakeholders
• Professional-level conversational English
