About Us & The Role
We are building the backbone of a modern, disruptive security organization. We believe that to stay ahead of adversaries, we must move faster, scale smarter, and leverage technology that others are afraid to touch.This is a newly created area within the CISO's office. The Security Platforms, AI and Automation team, tasked with leading our AI revolution. You won't just be maintaining tools; you will be building the "Central Nervous System" of our security department.
You will be the force multiplier that connects our data, automates our workflows, and empowers every other team—from Cyber Defense to GRC—to operate at 100x scale. We are looking for a relentless builder who views every manual task as a bug and every siloed tool as a broken connection.
Your mission: build the magic layer where AI agents, automation, and security platforms converge to create a single, intelligent, and autonomous defense ecosystem.
What You'll Do:- Build the "Single Brain": Engineer the integration layer that connects our diverse security stack (Cloud, IR, IAM, AppSec, GRC). You will build the API connections, data pipelines, and "glue" code that allows disparate tools to speak one common language.
- Lead the AI Revolution: Design and deploy custom AI agents and use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to turn static tools into active responders. You will build the infrastructure where AI agents take over operational loads, freeing humans to focus on creative engineering.
- Engineer Reusable Building Blocks: Create the modular code, functions, and workflows that other security teams can use to self-serve. You aren't just fishing for them; you are building better fishing rods (and robotic fishing nets).
- Hyper-Automate Operations: Whether it's automating a GRC evidence collection process, a cloud remediation workflow, or a complex threat response in Tines/Python, you will build the logic that makes it repeatable and instant.
- Scale & Measure Everything: Implement the systems that track the health, efficacy, and ROI of our security program. You will turn activity into actionable metrics and KPIs, ensuring our growth is measurable.
- Be the Cross-Domain Enabler: Act as the technical bridge. You will dive into challenges across Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, and Risk Management to understand their pain points and engineer the automated solutions that solve them.
- The "Builder" DNA: 5-7 years engineering experience that loves writing code, piecing together APIs, and seeing a system come to life.
- Strong Coding/Scripting Chops: Proficiency in Python is a must. You are comfortable writing production-quality code, working with APIs, and managing version control (Git).
- AI & LLM Fluency: You aren't just asking chatbots questions; you understand how to build with them. Experience with AI agents, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), or frameworks (LangChain, MCP) is highly desired.
- Automation Mastery: Deep experience with SOAR platforms (Tines for example) or custom workflow automation. You know how to turn a complex human process into a button click.
- Platform Engineering Mindset: You think in systems. You understand how to maintain the health of a platform, ensure uptime, and monitor performance.
- Broad Security Knowledge: You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you need to know enough about IR, Cloud, GRC, and AppSec to understand what you are automating.
- Problem-Solving at Scale: You don't solve for "one time," you solve for "every time." You are obsessed with efficiency and 100x scalability.
- Autonomous Ownership & Grit: You take end-to-end ownership of fuzzy problems and chase the goal, not just the task. You are proactive and resilient, capable of solving problems autonomously without close supervision. However, you also have the judgment to raise your hand immediately for clarification or support when you hit a dead end, ensuring you never spin your wheels.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building internal developer platforms or security data lakes.
- Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or building custom AI tools.
- Background in software engineering before moving into security.
- You will be part of a team that acts as the "Special Forces" of engineering within the security organization. You will move fast, iterate constantly, and have the freedom to choose the best tools for the job. This is not an advisory role—this is a full hands-on role where you ship code, deploy agents, and change the way security is done.
